LOVE YOUR GARAGE

Garages serve many purposes. Some want to park their cars in there to protect their cars. Some use the garage as storage. Some creating a living space for recreation or to sit and look out. Some use it to work out of to house their tools. Garages contribute to the overall look and feel of the home. I love this picture, the owner created a look that adds value to the home. The design of the doors, stone work, the paint color, the light fixtures, windows, shutters, and the copula, all add to the feel of this garage. The deep creek marina color on the garage adds to the upscale designer feel, at the same time, the facade is more rustic. The arched openings add to the Feng Shui architectural features. If your garage is attached to your home, then it matters if it adds value and style to the over all feel of your home design. Many people use their garage as a work space and windows and light filtering in look nice from the outside and make the inside usable space. I am asked to comment on my preference to shingle, barrel tile or steel roofs here in Florida. Steel seems to be the easiest and best looking on many of the homes here in the Florida sun and the steel certainly hold up better than other products. If you get the right company to install a steel roof, the design can be very nice looking.
