CREATE A FEELING
Feng Shui is all about flow and feeling. Creating an ambience that allows you do decompress at the end of the day. Warm colors draw in light and the products you chose make all the difference in how you feel in your home. Lighting fixtures that are too stark, are hard on the nervous system. The pattern you lay your flooring in can dictate how large or small your space feels. Your ceiling is your 5th wall, it is actually the most important wall when you are choosing a color. If your intention is to open and expand your space, have maximum flow, and create an ambience, avoid a stark white builder white. Stark, ceiling white shows shadows, and boxes in the space. Most whites are cold in tone and sends light back out, creating the opposite feel to what you are looking for.
