Door color should reflect who you are and have some fun with the colors you choose. I was asked to chose colors for all the front doors on the main street in a small town in NY. Everyone on the main street had similar homes and they all wanted to have a unique colored front door. They all had ceramic bunnies with festive hats on their porches to unify the little town. Each family had a unique entry but the door color was paramount to the over all feel of the home. Of course, the color the home is painted makes a difference in the front door colors but your entryway dictates what your home looks like from the road, especially a first impression if you are trying to sell your home.
